Our honeybush tea comes from South Africa and is similar to rooibos. It isn't grown on plantations but grows wild, and the farmers harvest and process it with a great deal of time and effort – pure and natural in both cultivation and processing. That's why it is only available in limited quantities.
Taste
Honeybush is caffeine-free, contains no tannic acid and is therefore very light in taste. It tastes aromatic and sweet, milder and less robust than our Natural Rooibos Tea. Look forward to a pleasant, sweetish, honey-like and slightly fruity taste – without any added flavorings or sugar.

Our Honeybush Natural comes from beautiful South Africa. What makes it special: honeybush grows exclusively in the wild, because it needs specific growing conditions that only exist in the wild.

Preparation
Honeybush is forgiving and robust. We recommend brewing it at 100 °C with a steeping time of 5–7 minutes. It's best to preheat your cup and teapot so the tea doesn't cool down too quickly.
