Fresh and sweetly minty: that’s nana mint! Compared to classic peppermint, it tastes sweeter and more robust. Our nana mint is a natural variety of curly mint that grows in the green landscapes of northern Austria.
Taste
Nana mint is rich in essential oils, which gives it an intense, fresh mint flavor. Compared to peppermint, it is slightly darker in color and wins you over with a deep, complex and herbaceous aroma.
Origin
Our nana mint grows together with many other herbs in northern Austria, surrounded by a lush green, unspoiled landscape. The growing region lies in the border area with Bavaria and the Czech Republic. The nana mint is produced by an agricultural producer association, a group of several farmers working together.
