Sage is a true classic. We love its intense, aromatic taste: packed with essential oils, sage delights with a fresh, robust aroma.
Taste
The many essential oils create an intense, fresh taste that is slightly reminiscent of the scent of conifer resin. A fine, astringent bittersweet note rounds off the sage tea perfectly.
Origin
Our sage grows together with many other herbs in northern Austria, in the middle of a lush green, natural landscape. The growing region lies on the border with Bavaria and the Czech Republic. The sage is produced by an agricultural producer group, an association of several farmers.

Preparation
So that herbal tea can be enjoyed safely and without concern, always brew it with water at a rolling boil and let it steep for at least 5–10 minutes. We recommend 5 g of sage (2 heaped tablespoons) per liter of water.
